Back Pain Relief– A Possible Solution

I wanted to share this, I thought it was interesting and it might not work for everyone but there may be a few out there it just might help.

Now, I recently posted about my back issues and I wanted to share how I was able to get better. Simply, what I was doing was, at night I was going to sleep on a lazy chair, I had just purchased. Now the bed for some reason was making my back pain worse in the morning and before, when I would get these episodes I would sleep on the floor, but that was not helping out at all, because I was having pain and it was difficult to get up off the floor in the mornings.

So I started sleeping on this lazy chair, recliner. It goes back pretty far, but when I woke up in the morning I felt relieved and my back pain was lessening. It has been three nights now and I am pain free. I am still feeling a bit tight in the lower back, but I plan on sleeping in the recliner for another 2 nights…just to make certain. Actually possibly till Monday morning, that way I can get back into my Fitness program, Insanity this coming Monday morning.

That was on another post that I spoke about it, and I seriously want to get right back in. of course I plan on easing into it, even easing in to it you can still sweat and get a good workout. My only thing is that a few certain exercise moves they perform I will not be doing to that intensity or maybe not at all…depending.

My Perspective:

On back pain, I don’t wish it upon anyone. It is not something that one wants to live with for their rest of their lives, but taking care of your self is vital. So, next time you have some back pain, try sleeping on a Recliner lazy boy chair for about 5 days, making sure to add 2 days even if you feel 100% better…just in case. Also, very important to have strong Abs, maybe not a six-pack, but you need to do some kind of exercise that will work the Abs…to the Core. It is vital for reducing the chances of reoccurring back pain. Please always consult your Doctor before doing anything I mentioned here or that you have read anywhere.

Thanks for reading, stay safe, healthy but be adventures. Till next time Latino Man signing off.

Insanity Work Out Program

Purchasing On Line

Ok so I decided to go ahead and try Insanity work out program, by Beachbody. Now, my experience in purchasing directly from Beachbody was horrible. I order online and received a confirmation of my order and it stated I should receive a follow up email with the tracking number. I never received it. Now, after which I never received any kind of correspondence from Beachbody, it had been 5 days since placing my order. I upped to get it delivered 2-4 days, so when I never received the program I submitted a ticket online to customer service; I had to take the initiative to find out what was going on.
So I get a reply from an agent at Beachbody stating that they are very sorry for any inconvenience. But that it seems my credit card was declined. So I contacted my bank and they confirmed that they have not received any attempts to bill in the past several days, but the bank did state that I should make sure they had the right information. Well, that did not go good with me, because I always capture screen shots of any information I enter into any systems online I may purchase through, well they had the right information. So I then, which I don’t recommend you do, contacted customer support at the numbers provided, low and behold the agent was somewhere in India, only saying.

First of all the agent had a hard time locating my order. The agent later asked me to re-order since they were having technical difficulties, he wanted me to provide my credit card information, but also he started to up-sale…let me tell you it clearly heard like the agent was reading a script. Anyhow, I declined and asked to kindly cancel the order since it hasn’t been processed. I asked for this because I wanted to make certain that they did not try and run my card again or send me the packet later asking me to pay for it or something else.

So I will wait for a few days and see if any attempts are made to bill me or if I happen to get the packet. I will be certain to return it unopened if it comes through…oh yah and I’ll be sure to send it certified so I know they got it back. If everything goes ok, I will go ahead and try to order the program through Amazon, same program and it looks like it is cheaper…anyhow. If you decide to order insanity, I would highly recommend doing so through Amazon or maybe it is available at a local store…just don’t do it on-line at least not through Beachbody.

Wait, ok…I have heard through many people that they ordered products through Beachbody with no issues, ok, I know there is always exceptions, but by experience, if you order on-line best do it through someone like Amazon…there customer support is a lot better…only saying. Products are the same, but the customer support makes a HUGE difference.

My Perspective:

Doing any online purchases are fantastic, convenient and you always have a broader range of options available to you, but with purchasing online you need to be extra careful as to where your credit card or personal information is going. Not saying that we shouldn’t purchase online, all I am saying is do so carefully. People learned which sites are great in getting products to their customers and have the best customer support to resolve any issues that may arise; so people stick those sites and become loyal customer. I personally have experience no issues with Amazon and I do a lot of my purchases through them, so of course everyone has their experiences can only suggest that you do your research on the company you will be purchasing, and try the out with something small…if possible and then once you like what you see, you can be more comfortable ordering from them.

Anyhow, thanks for reading, take care, be careful online and till next time Latino Man signing off.

P.S. I did end up ordering through Amazon, it was about $5 dollars cheaper and so far so good. I'll keep you posted.

Should a Man Tell a Woman She’s Fat?

I was driving into work this morning and I caught this topic on the radio, and actually the full topic was:

"Should a Man Tell a Woman if she is Fat? How should a man tell a woman? Does a woman want to know it?"

So I was driving and I wanted to hear the answers…so after several songs and mixes…yah…I was surprise to have that many songs played in the morning…wow…usually it’s a lot of talking…anyways…so the first caller gets on the line and she says, “Its funny you guys, meaning the radio show hosts, brought up this topic…you see my husband a few days ago told that he remembered when I was “Smaller”, that is the word he used…and now well…you look “Bigger”. He also said, “he was a sex addict when they first met and when we married and you started gaining weight I toned it down…you know the whole marriage thing…but now…well…you are ‘Bigger’ that’s what the husband told her”. So the women on the radio tells the radio hosts, he has to be kidding, he is the one to talk and the guy is bald, huge beer belly and them chicken legs he has…well…of course the woman was upset and that started a huge fight with her husband.

So the Radio host, comments on the caller…and her chicken legs husband, he says, “He needs to look in the mirror first before even touching the subject about you, the wife. Guy can’t tell a woman (wife, partner, girlfriend) she is fat if he’s fat….boy needs to hit the gym and look in the mirror before touching that subject with you, the wife.” Now I have to agree with that comment…but still no answer on whether a woman wants to hear that.

So that was one, then a next caller, woman told her story, you see she said, “I am from Atlanta and we are raised on Corn bread and good old home cooking and I use to hang out with this guy, do you know what this guy told me out of the blue one day while we were hanging out by the beach, “Girl you look like the sand…your all over…of course she doesn’t hang out with him anymore.

Now, they comment on the second caller, the hosts says, “There is definitely no need to use hard words, words that could hurt, so definitely that’s not the way to tell a woman she is fat or on the heavy side and if a man uses hurtful words…then he has some issues that he needs to go take care of”, that’s what the radio hosts says to the woman.

So, the thing is I never got to hear a woman’s opinion if a man should tell her she is gaining some weight, or if she even wants to hear it and if she does, how should a man touch on the subject? So…what do you think…ladies or gentlemen? I want to hear from you.

Should a Man Tell a Woman if she is Fat? How should a man tell a woman? Does a woman want to know it?

Thanks for reading and I look forward to any comments on this subject and please come back often Take care and hang in there.
