Residual Income

The Opportunity:

I am sure that I am like many, many individuals out there searching for a way to make residual income. I have been searching high and low, for the past 19 years, for some kind of business that I can do on my own with out having to fork-out thousands of dollars to start it up. I have done everything from “Placing thousands of little Ads in Newspapers”, to Flipping Notes, to the Cash Flow Industry, to Vending machine routes, to opening my own online store, to eBay, to selling at the swap meet, to well online Affiliate programs, and after trying them all, I come to realize that I have spent thousands of dollars to start up a business…go figure. But in the search to do so, of course with a lot of trial and error, and most importantly seeing every day in and out what other individuals have done or what others are offering right now…I come to realize that there are a set of affiliate programs that truly can potentially provide residual income, but the trick is patience and consistency. I have established an affiliate program that at first I thought why would I do this, if everyone and there grandmother is doing it, well…with so much traffic on the internet you actually have a great chance to get some of that traffic, but you have to be consistent and patient and think to yourself that it will take several years to build some kind of income…if you do that it will happen.

Any good affiliate program has to be a name brand in order to work; any affiliate program that really wants to make money will not charge individuals to join their affiliate program. The only cost that you should endure is the cost to drive visitors to the affiliate sites and if planned correctly it can be minimal to start with. So you’re wondering on the name brand affiliate programs, here are 31 affiliate programs under one Affiliate signup; to name a few:

Friend Finder
Adult Friend Finder
Amigos
Gay Friend Finder
Indian, German, Korean, French, Italian, Asian, Filipino, Jewish Friend Finder
Grad Finder
Big Church
Fast Cupid
Cams
Slim
Passion
And so many more Affiliates under 1-Affiliate signup

The affiliate programs I have listed above are actually working, but I want you to understand that this is not an overnight thing; it will take years to build, but low-and-behold after 3 years I have actually starting to see checks that were enough to pay for the advertising and it allowed me to reinvest anything extra back into advertising to grow my income.

Very Important - Now, before I forget, with the affiliate programs listed above, please…please set the value of the checks you will receive to the lowest possible, which I believe is $55 dollars…so as soon as you reach $55 dollars, a check will be mailed…this way you will feel that you are progressing, then of course when the frequency of the checks go up, then you can increase to say $300, and then $500 and so on. I have it set to $1000, which is perfect for me at the moment and it pays for the advertising and a little left over for me. As I said before it isn’t anything to write home about, and it has taken me 3 years to get to this point, but I believe that within another 3 years I will be able to double that to $2000…and I only spend $500 in Pay Per Click a month…so that’s not bad…I think.

So with that said, you have nothing to loose, it is free to read about the affiliate programs and it is FREE to sign up, all you have to do is drive visitors to the site and I have actually outlined what I did and are doing to market – see below “The Marketing”. I wish you extreme luck and remember stick to it, patience and it will start to generate income. Hey, think about it when you retire an extra $1000 maybe $2000 won’t hurt will it.

The Marketing:

Now, I have used everyone that is possible on the internet when it came to advertising or driving visitors to my business, for most of my marketing, but I have also used printed newspapers to place hundreds of little ads (sound familiar), car magnets, physical bulleting boards, etc. I have used Pay Per Clicks companies, Craig List, Back Pages, Forums, Blogs, Pod casts, You Tube, Face book, My Space and other social networks to once again drive visitors to my business or affiliates. And in all that, I have seriously broken it down to a few worth while venues to advertise…where cost is not the overwhelming issue. They are as follows:

Pay Per Clicks - I run it on my own; please do not use a third party vendor to manage your Pay Per Clicks campaign, it is a waste of time and most importantly money. Yes, it will take you 3 months or maybe a year to find the correct ad or ads, and the correct key words that will drive visitors to your affiliate sites or business…but once you do, you simply “set it and forget it”…yes I said that. Because I have literally left alone my Pay Per Clicks campaign after finally putting together a winning Ad and Keywords. Now I am not saying to completely stop looking at your campaign, but I simply look at it once a month, a few hours to see how the ads and key words are doing….if I see what I like I just extend the campaign for one month, if I don’t like what I see then I try a new Ad or other Keywords…once a month.

I started out with $60 dollars a month or $3 dollars, nearly 4 years ago. Now of course I increased that with the extra income that is generated…remember it has taken me about 3-4 years to build this…I know it sounds like a long time for a measly $1000 a month, but I estimate, this is my estimation…that in another 3-5 years I should be bringing in $2000 dollars after the ad costs. That’s not bad and it is residual and with minimal work on my part. The thing is, being patient, be consistent in your duties and sticking to the plan.

Back Pages – place an ad in there might not bring in thousands of visitors, but your name will be out there and become each month a little more known. The cost is incredible; I pay 60 dollars for 12 weeks…I think that is fantastic. Now, I don’t; worry about writing anything in regards to the Ad, I simply use one of the already created and reliable banners provided by the affiliate business and simply insert the HTML, it looks good, professional and it simply took a few clicks by you. So now you have 12 weeks of a banner being displayed to expose your affiliate site or business.

Blog – Start your own blog, seriously…Blogger, is great I like them, but you decide which company to use. Now, having a Blog is not as difficult as one may think, I actually schedule myself, by blogging Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays and you know what I don’t worry so much about grammar or spelling…seriously…if you use Word as your writing tool, it takes care of most of that…the real trick is to write as you are speaking to someone. 90% of the visitors focus on the meat of the article or blog and if you sound interested they will be interested. After while, if you are retired, the topics you can talk about…well it can be anything and everything…it actually takes about 30 minutes out of my day…and it’s actually fun. I sometimes get some feedback which makes it all the worth while…whether it is good feedback or bad…it doesn’t matter...you learn and appreciate.

Those are the three marketing venues I use that have over the years actually provided results, they are nothing to write home about, but when you are making enough money to cover your advertising costs and have a little over…I think that is a huge gain, eventually you put back in the extra money into pay per clicks more advertising money or back longer duration of Ad.

Steps to Continued Success:

1. Sign-up for the affiliate program listed below,

2. Navigate around the affiliate console and familiarize yourself with the different banner styles and types that are available

3. Locate your account options and set your payment option to the lowest available for now…I think it is $55 could be $100, then gradually increase it

4. Create a Yahoo Email Account dedicated to your Affiliate business

5. Create a Back Pages Account using your new Yahoo email

6. Place an ad, using one of the available banners from the business affiliate site

7. Create a Microsoft Ad Center account (Pay Per Clicks)

8. Create an ad, you can duplicate one that you will already find by searching the net related to the business, why reinvent the wheel.

9. Set the Pay Per Clicks account limits to $3 dollars a day and the monthly spending limit to $60 per month. The site goes by 30 days calendar.

10. Start a Blog, this is not an immediate need, but it is a great way to get your name and affiliate programs out there…look at mine.

11. Monitor the Pay Per clicks for the first year at least once a week then move to once a month.

12. Monitor your new affiliate business, sometimes they will add new banners or other sites you can promote.

13. Now, the most important thing to remember…PATIENCE & CONSISTANCY. It took me 3-years to build it…it’s worth the wait. And it is not a scheme
