2011 Has Arrived

Yet another year has gone by and as I can see…we are still here. Yah…2010 was a rocky year…full of bad news from every news media out there, but in the mist of it all we somehow were still able to break records for Christmas shopping…even on big ticket items. So, I guess that is one going sign that 2010 ended with an upbeat.

Now, I know it’s been a while that I have posted, but with everything going on I could not find the time to even write down a thought, so as a new year resolution I am going to make a time slot for just that…writing down my thoughts and of course blogging them. So, let me hope that this is the first blog of many to come. So, with that long winded introductory…I guess…let me get on this topic of “New Year Resolutions”.

Yah, we all make them and you know statistically over 90% of the New Year Resolutions made, Fail…isn’t that amazing. Of course we folks won’t fail this year right. I mean, I only have 2 for 2011, 1 is to get physically fit by August of 2011, and of course, 2 blog more and hopefully include some Pod Casts as well…but Blogging is more of the New Year resolution. I am hoping to start of and keep on running with it.

Anyhow, so the first resolution of getting fit, well, I joined a Gym…a paid Gym…so as to supposedly get motivated to go. Yes I do have a treadmill at home and I do have a small gym at work, but the motivation is just not there, so I am hoping since I paid for the full year that I will be going…yah…I will. The thing is when I went to the gym just to get a tour and get a feel, the lady at the counter highly recommended that I come either before 3pm or after 7pm…because there were so MANY people working out - you know the whole New Years Resolutions thing. Well, she also stated that by February the crowd would die down and I could start coming after work…yah she was so sure about it that I almost laughed. I’m hoping not to be one of those.

Anyhow, I hope that all of you that went ahead and made a New Years Resolution will stick to it and make 2011 a fantastic new year of promise and good fortune. This year I will probably get a little more candid with my blogs, because well as I get there on age…I would really like to share my experiences and thoughts and maybe some advice through out 2011…with those that are willing to listen, so we’ll see how that goes.

Till next time Latino Man signing off, wishing you and you’re a fantastic 2011.
